F1 Team Launch Dates

 

15th February – Williams Martini Racing

19th February – Aston Martin Red Bull Racing

20th February – Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team

20th February – Renault Sport Formula One Team

22nd February – Scuderia Ferrari

Williams Martini Racing will be the first team to release their contender the Mercedes-powered FW41 on February 15.

 

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing will be launching their RB14 machine on Tuesday February 19. Traditionally the Milton-Keynes squad were one of the last teams to unveil their contender for an upcoming season in a push to be ready as late as possible in order to maximize it’s development time.

 

Renault and Sauber are next on the launch list, with Sauber launching their first Alfa Romeo branded livery machine online and Renault unveiling their RS18 racer on the same day.

 

World Champions Mercedes and runners up Ferrari will release their respective contenders on February 22 as both teams target championship glory this year.

 

The new Ferrari will be unveiled online while Mercedes’ F1 W09 Hybrid will break it’s cover at Silverstone in an event similar to last year with World Champion Lewis Hamilton and team-mate Valtteri Bottas giving the new contender it’s first run at the legendary circuit with the W09 being unveiled to the world online during the lunch break.

 

McLaren will release their new Renault-powered MCL33 on February 23 as the Woking-based squad begin their alliance with the French manufacturer in 2018 after ending their failed Honda partnership.

 

Toro Rosso will unveil their new Honda-powered STR13 on the opening day of pre-season testing, February 26 at Spain’s Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
